Due to the style and nature of construction undertaken by us at David Smallcombe Ltd, it is often necessary to manufacture bespoke pieces of joinery to suit a project, or to produce exact replicas of items needed during the renovation and restoration of listed buildings. Because of this, we run a modest but high quality Joinery shop. The workshop is staffed by three joiners collectively granting us a combined experience of almost 60 years.

Although the primary role of the Joinery branch is to serve the needs of the construction company, we are also able to take external commisions for bespoke items of work. We primarily specialise in the manufacture of staircases, windows and doors, however recent projects undertaken involve a wide array of items which include oak furniture, bridges and kitchen units.
