Project Description

Upper Tappenhal House, Worcester

Another one of our favourite Grade II listed building to have had the pleasure to work with. This property is believed to have dated back to 1580 serving as a farmhouse. David Smallcombe was first contracted in 2015 to replace some storm proof windows with a traditional casement style window that was more aesthetically in keeping with the period of the house. In 2016, we continued our work by adding on an oak extension to allow for a large utility space, especially for their two spaniels. By 2018, we were once again contacted to convert their old stable barn into a games and entertainment room with side kitchen. Our last project with this house was an extension with a very contemporary cladded exterior with bifold doors, against the traditional black and white farmhouse. The kitchen design was very sleek which gave a stunning contrast to other parts of the listed building. This has been a beautiful mainted listed building that we have enjoyed working with and see grow over the years.
